The “BSPTCL OFFICE” project represents a significant step towards ensuring seamless and reliable power transmission across Bihar. As the headquarters for the Bihar State Power Transmission Company Limited (BSPTCL), this control room is essential for overseeing the state’s power transmission network, ensuring smooth operations, and meeting regulatory standards. The newly designed control room is set to enhance the operational efficiency of BSPTCL, providing a great environment tailored to meet the evolving needs of the energy sector.

With the goal of centralizing and streamlining the monitoring and management of Bihar’s power grid, Pyrotech Workspace was entrusted with designing an advanced control room that optimizes the working conditions for BSPTCL’s team. Our scope included creating a functional, aesthetically appealing, and highly efficient environment that supports the organization’s commitment to reliable electricity transmission.

Project Scope

The scope of work for the BSPTCL Office control room project in Patna was extensive and focused on delivering a comprehensive interior solution. This included:

• ‣ Ceiling:

A modern ceiling design was implemented to ensure proper acoustics, lighting, and temperature control within the control room. The ceiling was engineered to provide a comfortable environment for the team to operate efficiently in a noise-reduced space.

• ‣ Paneling/Partition:

High-quality paneling and partition solutions were installed to optimize the workspace layout, ensuring a smooth workflow for the control room operators. These partitions were designed to enhance both functionality and aesthetics while ensuring privacy for focused work

• ‣ Flooring:

Acoustic-friendly flooring was laid down to reduce noise levels and provide comfort underfoot for long working hours. The flooring choice also complemented the overall design aesthetics, creating a harmonious environment conducive to productivity.

• ‣ Electrical Work:

A robust electrical system was installed to meet the demands of a 24/7 control room operation. This included advanced wiring and electrical infrastructure that ensures reliable power supply to all equipment and systems.

• ‣ Desk:

Ergonomically designed desks were provided to enhance operator comfort and efficiency. These desks are built to facilitate long hours of monitoring with minimal fatigue, supporting optimal posture and ease of use for the team.

The control room was furnished with premium-quality office furniture that not only adds to the aesthetic appeal but also supports the overall functionality of the workspace. This furniture was chosen to enhance collaboration, comfort, and long-term durability.
